Italian Federation of Mechatronic Technologies and Components for Fluid Power, Power Transmission, Smart Automation and Control of Industrial Products and Processes

AFEDERTEC was born in 2019 from the merger of ASSIOT – Italian Transmission Elements and Gears Manufacturers Association - and ASSOFLUID – Italian Association of Manufacturing and Trading Companies in Fluid Power Equipment and Components.

The Federation has about 250 members which design and produce systems and components that have a strong impact in manufacturing sectors.

The industrial automation industry (with focus on mechatronic technologies) is one of the most significant economic sectors in Italy - where it is estimated to be worth over 40 billion Euro - and worldwide.

FEDERTEC’s objectives are to coordinate, protect and promote the technical and economic interests of the industrial automation industry, focused on the convergence and fusion of the various technologies and directed to represent the entire Italian value chain worldwide.

The Federation carries out market surveys, promotes export of member companies by attending the most important international trade fairs, encourages training and provides targeted support and working alongside its members for the solution of technical and economic matters.
