AMAPLAST
Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery and Moulds Manufacturers' Association

Founded in 1960, AMAPLAST, a non-profit Association, known as ASSOCOMAPLAST until 2017, represents the most important companies, Italian plastics and rubber machinery, ancillary equipment and moulds manufacturers.

The main aim of AMAPLAST is to promote worldwide the knowledge of the Italian sector technologies that are at the top of the world market, in terms of production and export outputs.

Through its commercial company PROMAPLAST srl, the Association publishes the bimonthly technical magazine MACPLAS, with a total circulation of 8,000 copies in Italy, besides the internet version MACPLAS ONLINE (www.macplas.it) and the bi-weekly newsletter MACPLAS E-NEW

Moreover, PROMAPLAST srl organizes every three years the international exhibition PLAST in Milan (www.plastonline.org).
AMAPLAST, through CESAP (Centre for the Development of Plastics Applications, www.cesap.com), organizes technical training activities and supports researches and new applications of processing technologies and new materials etc..
Finally AMAPLAST runs the Technical Committee "CEN/TC 145", which draws up European safety standards for plastics and rubber machinery.
